Spirit awakening, or Spiritual awakening, was something that was widely discussed in self-improvement.
What is awakening?
Can we make awakening happen?
Then when we have awakening, what will happen in our life?
We will find answers to these questions...
Awakening is the state of being aware in the present moment. This will make our life conscious and able to manage the mind within ourselves to have peace. Even though there may be things affecting the mind that come from outside, when you can manage your mind, you will not have fear and anxiety.
Awakening is spoken in many religions, whether in Buddhism, Christianity, Islam or Hinduism, awakening may be defined in slightly different contexts. If one considers awakening in Buddhism, one might consider the highest point of desire in life, which is nirvana, which means the complete cessation of defilements or suffering. Nirvana is the cessation of defilements or conditions that make our minds miserable, such as lust, infatuation, ego, desire for mischief, etc., and these tend to cause us suffering. Moreover, nirvana often refers to the end of suffering. which is related to the non-creation of karma and the non-rebirth.
Awakening in spiritual development, it transforms you from the old to the new who shatters yourself from yourself, which is aware of the present (now), not thinking about the past and not dream of the future, and integrates (or is connected (connect)) with fellow human beings indiscriminately.
The self, or ego, in spiritual development refers to what makes our minds miserable because we often have to protect ourselves. And that protection hurts our own hearts. and brings suffering within the heart.
There are some simple examples. Suppose you graduated with a Ph.D., you may not want to hear advice from others who may have graduated at a lower level. Because you are defending yourself that you are superior in knowledge. Therefore, it is not necessary to listen to such advice. And on the other hand, others may not dare to advise you. An another example, having a presence in society, if you are a person who is often admired by others. You may feel that you are special or important to other people. And if one day, no one will ever treat you like that again, you might just feel bad and disappointed. These two examples are simple cases that we often encounter in today's world society. The relationship between spiritual development and Buddhism on the liberation of the ego refers to the same thing as shading off one's self. The ego tends to cause suffering (suffering) or misery in the mind.
Valuing others from something tangible or discernible, such as from their social, economic, or educational status, can be an illusion to you because they may forgot to look inside to the mind of that person.
We may deceive ourselves because of our obsession with the ego.
Awakening is thus a detachment of one's self to see oneself in its pure or real form. When you can shake yourself off, you will be able to open up to new things.
In spiritual development, we want you to be invisible.
So how do you know that you still exist? Think about it. Do you like comparing yourself to others? whether you have something you think it is better or worse, or are you trying to defend your beliefs? Or are you obsessed with pride?
One thing that can destroy your ego is ignorance.
For example, you don't know what to do and what your occupation is. If you forgot what you knew it will make you more open-minded to listen or ready to learn more new things. Considering scientific principles, our brains will only remember the old things. Or what you know is the same thing you know in the past which you may be heard and learned. And finally, that may build your belief and you may become obsessed with it. Thus, knowing limits oneself only to know and resist opening up to accept the new things come into life.
The normal person can experience awakening. Regardless, those people are not religious. or no religion or have never studied spirituality before. Awakening usually occurs in three situations.
normal living conditions You may fall asleep and wake up feeling a new world.
a state resulting from continuous practice, such as the practice of Vipassana or practicing meditation which when done often will awaken
a state of rapid traumatic events This could happen directly to yourself or to another person, such as witnessing a traumatic event, a divorce, the loss of a loved one. or meeting special people such as soulmates or twin frames
The intensity of awakening may differ from person to person. depending on the state of mind and lifestyle at that Intensity is the effect on the lifestyle of the awakened person. In the third state, the awakening may be more intense than the other states. Awakening can be a temporary awakening within the short period. or has been developed continuously for a longer period of time. And when you wake up, awareness, mental management, and thought management may have to continue to develop indefinitely.
When you experience awakening, what will happen to you is a new world in which you shatters off your ego.
In a book that studies spiritual development, it talks about awakening studied a sample group of people who are awake. Some people experience the wake of the loss of a family member or someone they know. Some people experience life difficulties, for example, having a divorce or detecting a deadly disease. The awaked people try to solve the problem by throwing away the sadness or suffering Life in the past. The lifestyle of the past will gradually be forgotten, and the life of the new world will begin to emerge. You are starting to see the value in life, to feel the beauty and to realise the ordinary things in the world that are connected. There was a peace of mind that clearly appeared.
Quitting yourself doesn't mean you have to shake off everything or you have to lose your dignity, that you may find to decorate yourself. Everything is still your creation. Only you are conscious and do not fall into or be obsessed with what you created.
What happens when you wake up?
You will be aware of the present, forgetting about the past and not dreaming of the future. But you will focus on what is important today, that may bring about the future you really want.
You are content to stay quiet. You may not want to be featured in society. You are content to do some activities that you want without caring what other people think because what you do is what you consider important.
You will be happy with the little things, you will have a desire to share more happiness with your loved ones or family, and including other people around.
You may be happy with your possession, for example, a watch you like. your favorite brand name bags. Those makes you happy but those doesn't make you obsessed.
You see what's important in life. And you don't spend time on things that don't matter. You may cut off some of your friends or society if you look at it as nothing more important in your life.
You may live your life forgetting the time. Sometimes you may enjoy doing something until you forgot what time was at that time. That's because you live in the present which is timeless. You may have forgotten what day it is, and what is a tomorrow day.
You will have an automatic mental arrangement, for example, you know what you need to accomplish in a day. Or is there anything that you will need to do in that week? You'll be willing to do it and clean up. It may not take long time to finish it.
You will begin to learn and understand the needs of others by reducing your prejudice against them. You started to see the good parts of others that could be used to reach the same goal: the peace of society.
You may still have some negative thoughts about other people but you did not take those thoughts to hurt yourself. You saw it and ended it there. You do not think further or not think for a long time.
You dare to refuse and not worried about anything. Finally, you will live life to the fullest.
